My experience as a longtime photographer and content creator has taught me so much. Coming to college, I wanted to learn more about the theoretical aspects of film and photography. It was at this point that I declared a media production minor.

Although this class is a stepping stone to more specific forms of content creation, I have enjoyed the process of stepping back and viewing all the different genres of media. The most impactful is experimental media. It’s one thing to create something meaningful, but it’s another thing to create something impactful while challenging the status quo. Being a business major has also allowed me to connect aspects of business to the media realm.
